Error when loading gcode file in Mach3

Hello,

I've just started with Eagle, pcb-gcode, and everything else. To see how things work, I downloaded the Voltage Regulator example from MillPCBS.com. The bottom loaded ok and I did a simulation in Mach3. No problem encountered. When I try loading "SimpleeVRbd.nc", the message "R less than Z in cycle xy planeLine32". This line is highlighted in Mach3:

G82 X-4.3815 Y15.2400 Z1.8000 F127.00 R0.5000 P0.100000

I've attached the gcode file for this here.

Same message appeared for "SimpleeVRtd.nc".

May I also know which is the file that holds the gcode to drill the through holes?

Those are the thru hole drill files. bd = bottom drill td = top drill. The issue is a setup issue. You have the drill depth as 1.8" above the board. Z high is the height on the up movement after the drill, drill depth is the end position of the drill as id drills down. If the pcb surface is 0.0, then z high might be .1 to clear the pcb, drill down might be -.07 to drill through a .062 thick pcb.
Your setup has the high cycle stopping at 1", then drilling up to 1.8".

FYI, Z up is where it stops going up on the isolation mill cycle, Z down is the depth of the isolation mill cycle.

Do I need to indicate '-' infront of the drill depth for downward movement of the spindle? Do I change those setting in the setup ulp?

I'm working in metric. I should using the converted numbers you indicated in the post,

Yours comes with the pics but mine doesn't. I'll download again to see if I can bave that pic appearing on the setup screen.

I'll try the numbers on your previous to see if it all works out
