Useablilty of Dip-Trace

I've seen comments on the Hombrew_PCBs forum on Yahoo that Dip-Trace is as useful as Eagle and a whole lot easier to use, yet there is not one comment on this site about it. When i get up and running on making boards I had hoped to use Dip-Trace for schematic capture and layout for this reason. Would this be a mistake? I would very much like to hear people's comments on the subject.

Personally I don't care for dip trace, not nearly as robust as eagle. It is more intuitive to learn, but thats it.
