I found this chart ... others might find it useful too.

Hmmm, I was hoping to find my answer before I asked the question but maybe I'm not using the right search criteria. I need to order some PCB drills but don't want to buy more than I need. I'm thinking that once I get my board all laid out, I should run some sort of script to bing all the holes to the same size. I'm just doing prototyping so this sound reasonable to me.

I'm asking for your feedback on this approach, and how would I go about "resizing" all of my holes in Eagle?

Thanks,
Jay

BTW, I have my new HS spindle, 1 part of my mount for it, and the other coming soon.

Easiest is to simply modify the g-code rather than the design file. Use a test editor and combine the drill diameters you want by pulling the tool change portion out.

Found that drill Bit City has two web sites. I'm assuming the Yahoo one is the old one. Anyway, here are two more bit charts

I have this Color Drill Chart that you may find usefull. It is a "PDF" File but when I try to upload it it says that the format is not allowed. Anyone know how to upload a "PDF" file?

It groups certain diameter sizes together under one color. That means that both sizes fall under the manufacturers build tollerance and are basically the same size. A good rule of thumb is to order only millemeter sizes and you will find that you will need fewer sizes overall. I provide it to my customers so that they don't purchase redundant sizes.

Try it again. Turns out I hadn't enabled some extensions in some forums.....so it was my goof.
